Actor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER admitted to 60 Minutes in America that cheating on his estranged wife MARIA SHRIVER with the housekeeper was the "stupidest thing" he's ever done.

He says, "It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids."
