Andrea Moore has decided to brighten up Winter with her new line, ‘Neon Jungle’.
Originally a Wellington girl, Andrea has admitted she doesn’t mind Auckland. “The mellowness of the weather and the general friendliness of people in Auckland has been a real eye opener,” says Moore. “It’s not so bad up here!”
Her new line has been described as a modern safari, with florals, blinding neon, and is a celebration of her move from Wellington to the ‘urban jungle’ of Auckland.
At least she said ‘celebration’, it’s not like someone South of the Bombays to celebrate a somewhat necessary shift to the big smoke, but she did say she was coming round to the ways of the JAFA! Sort of…
She has even named some of the styles after key Auckland suppliers, along with streets and key places that Andrea and her family spend their time.
If you missed it, Andrea Moore lit up New Zealand Fashion week on day one, literally, with photographers being told not to use their flashes, and they soon discovered why. None was necessary with her neon tights lighting the way on the runway!
Her vivacious, yet comfortable line, was described as a ‘show stealer’.
