How awful! She was so so talented! Drugs and alcohol will never ever make you feel better. There is always a way out. Unfortunately Amy obviously didn't see the way out. Poor girl. Her poor parents...they must be in so much pain!

It is so horrible that people can become so caught up in drugs and alcohol. It is so sad that she had been so amazing and then after starting drugs, her life began to go down hill. I hope that no-one i know and care about use drugs and get addicted to alcohol. My brother began and was close to never stopping... Please, everyone be careful. Drugs are horrible things to get stuck using. They really are killers. We should not have to watch helpless as everyone, famous or friends, suffer through so much because they thought it would be fun to try something. Stay safe. RIP Amy, you were an amazing singer. We will all be sad that we will no longer be gifted with your songs and your amazing voice.

What a terrible, terrible tragedy. It's so sad when such a talented person has so much anxiety. I feel very sad for what she must have felt like at times through her life, and as a parent, I can't imagine the pain her parents must be in... truly tragic.
