Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey's hit TV comedy series 30 ROCK is to end next year (12), according to the actor.

Baldwin made the announcement at a Tuesday night (05Apr11) fundraising event in New York, explaining series co-creator, writer and star Fey wants to concentrate on making movies.

He told New York Magazine, "Our show next year is our last year of the show. Our contracts are expired, and Tina is gonna have a big career directing films and writing... She'll be great."

Representatives for the show have refused to comment on Baldwin's remarks.
