Adele had her baby over the weekend. She gave birth to a baby boy with her boyfriend, Simon Konecki. It’s the first child for Adele, but Simon has a five-year-old daughter with his ex-wife Clary Fisher.

And moments after the news was announced, the trolls came out in full force. Twitter user Vanessa Bieber told 4,000 followers: “Aw Adele gave birth to a baby. Is it fat and handicapped lol? Just murder it already lol.”

Other trolls “joked” that Adele would have the material for plenty more heartbreaking songs if her baby died or she got post-natal depression.

Some people even threatened to kill her if she chose their favourite baby name for her son.
