Adele, Kim Kardashian and the woman behind Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress were among the winner's at the annual Glamour Women of the Year awards in the U.K.

Adele was honoured with the Solo Artist of the Year trophy, while U.S. reality star Kim Kardashian jetted over from the U.S. to collect her accolade for Entrepreneur of the Year at London's Berkeley Square Garden gala on Tuesday (07Jun11).

Sarah Burton, the creative director of Alexander McQueen, won the Designer Award for her acclaimed bridal creation at April's royal wedding.
