One Direction have been crowned the most popular act to come out of X factor so far according to a new social impact chart.

Starcount have announced that all statistics including social network activity, Twitter followers, Facebook likes and YouTube views point to One Direction being the most popular X Factor act to date.

They outdid Leona Lewis who was in second place by 5x the amount. Cher Lloyd took out third place.
