Jennifer Aniston launched her own fragrance yesterday, called ‘Jennifer Aniston’.
At the launch she admitted she doesn’t even like perfume! "To be honest I'm not a big perfumey kind of a girl, I never really have been."
She described her scent as a "sexy clean smell - sort of non-perfumey".
Jennifer also revealed "Jennifer Aniston" wasn't the original name for the fragance, just a last minute one. Jennifer originally wanted to call her fragance "Lolavie", but the marketing bosses realised close to the launch that the name was too similar to Marc Jacobs' "Lola".
She tells Reuters, "It turned out as we were getting close to the launch, there was something out there that was very similar and it was just going to get very confusing in the marketplace. And at such a late hour, I didn't want to postpone the launch so the only thing we could really clear was my name."
Aniston recently told Women's Wear Daily magazine why she picked Lolavie: "It's a long story and honestly it's too personal to tell, but it has a special significance."
